OC World Features Premiere Interview with Frank Kim, Former CEO Orange County

    2024-08-12

Beginning in 2015, and then serving for nine years before recently stepping down as CEO of Orange County, Frank Kim was Orange County’s top public official overseeing a budget that has grown to $9.5 billion annually with more than 18,000 employees. Despite the breadth and heft of this post, Kim has been widely praised for deftly guiding the OC through a global pandemic, a homeless crisis, and multiple major construction projects.

OC World guest host Steve Churm, award-winning journalist and media entrepreneur, interviews Kim about some of the key lessons he learned from his experiences as the longest serving CEO in county history, his hopes for the future, and advice for his successor.

The interview can be accessed on OC World’s YouTube channel here. For more information about OC World, visit www.ocworld.org.
