    Try an Almond Chocolate Coffee or Hot Cappuccino Float for your Guests.

    I like this when I'm craving chocolate and something sweet. But it is certainly grand to serve guests.

    This is simple and again, like all coffee recipes, satisfying. Place 1/2 cup of ground coffee in your coffee filter, Put 2 1/2 cups of cold water in your brewer. In the empty coffee pot, add 2 tablespoons of regular sugar. Brew the coffee and when done brewing, add 1/4 teaspoon of almond extract.

    While that is staying hot, microwave 1 cup of half and half (or whole milk) and chop up 2 squares of semi- sweet chocolate. ( Or use 3/4 cups of the semi-sweet chips) . Microwave for 1 minute. It should be well melted, but stir it well and add to the brewed almond coffee.

    I use big mugs, and it will make 4 to 6 servings, depending on your mug size. Makes a wonderful after dinner, simple dessert.

    If making this for your guests, add whipped cream and a few chocolate curls for presentation. If making for yourself at home, refrigerate the remainder for an afternoon delight!.

    Here is another recipe I make for my company.

    I start with 1/2 cup of chocolate, vanilla or better yet, coffee ice cream!

    1 envelope of instant cappuccino mix, that you can easily but at the grocery store. I usually grab the mocha/ chocolate, but vanilla is also good.

    1 cup of hot milk.

    I Place the ice cream in a large mug, Prepare the packaged cappuccino mix as directed using hot milk instead of the hot water. Pour it over the ice cream in the mug, and enjoy your delightfully creamy hot cappuccino float!

    We owned an soft serve ice cream and specialty coffee shop, and I loved to create our daily specials. Enjoy!! Tomorrow will be pumpkin !!
