A Quick Fix for a Football Night Get-Together, or for the upcoming Basketball Season.

It's a recipe that is easy and good! These tasty sandwiches would be great for a football game or basketball party at your home. If having a party just make enough extras, refrigerate if you make ahead of time and you can easily pop these into your oven when you're ready. In 15 to 20 minutes you can serve! Add chips, sausa, or whatever you wish, to make for a fun filled evening. Give these a try!

    1/4 pound of softened butter.

1/2 cup of chopped onions, regular or green onions.

1 1/2 Tablespoons of mustard, whatever type you have. I like spicy brown.

1 1/2 Tablespoons of poppy seeds.

12 hamburger rolls. ( or any type of roll, even a pita bread.)

12 slices ( at least) of sliced ham. (I like enough ham and cheese.)

12 slices ( at least) of Swiss cheese. ( try cheddar too).

Combine the softened butter, onion, mustard and poppy seeds with a mixer. Now spread it on both sides of the buns. Add the ham and cheese to the buns. I like to double both the ham and cheese.

The important step is next, wrap each individually in aluminun foil. Bake at 350 degrees, for 15 to 20 minutes for melty goodness. Makes 12 sandwiches. Low mess, easy and delicious.
