Pittsburgh police have arrested a city man previously convicted on drug charges in connection with a shooting Downtown earlier this week. Ray Rivera, 58, of East Liberty, shot a man twice in the arm while the victim was in a car near Smithfield Street on Tuesday afternoon following an argument between the two elsewhere in the city’s central business district, authorities said.

Penn State Health CEO to retire
Steve Massini, who led Penn State Health through the COVID-19 pandemic as well as through a major expansion, has announced that he will retire in the fall. Massini, the first Penn State alumnus to lead the university’s health system, has been the CEO since 2019. He will retire effective Oct. 1.
ESPN disrespects Connor McDavid and Sidney Crosby: fans are furious
ESPN has just published their ranking of the top 100 athletes in professional sports, and fans of the Oilers and Penguins were furious, and outright disgusted. People at ESPN don't seem to be huge hockey fans, as out of the 100 athletes on the list, only three NHL players were included. The three hockey players on the list were Sidney Crosby in 22nd place, Alex Ovechkin at 54, and, wait for it, Connor McDavid all the way down the list in third last, at 98.
