44th annual Black History Month Expo and Parade celebrates African American heritage in Riverside
The 44th Annual Black History Month Expo and Parade, held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, in Riverside, was a celebration of the rich and diverse contributions of the African American community. This highly anticipated event brought together people from throughout Riverside and San Bernardino counties to honor and appreciate the achievements and cultural heritage of Black IE. The expo featured exhibits, performances, and activities that showcased the region’s talent, resilience, and innovation. Closing out the parade was the highly anticipated performance by Tommy the Clown and his renowned dance crew, T Squad. The parade featured elected leaders, community based organizations, drill teams, matching bands, and leaders in business, social organizations, and religious institutions.

The San Bernardino Black Culture Foundation has announced its award winners for 2024, honoring two people for The Dr. Juanita Scott Humanitarian of the Year Award.
