4th Annual SB MLK Day Parade & Extravaganza
San Bernardino’s MLK Day parade unfolded in a vibrant display of unity, honoring the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. Participants, donned in symbolic colors, marched through the streets, embodying the spirit of “pursuing the dream.” The event resonated with poignant speeches, emphasizing the ongoing quest for equality and justice. From community leaders to spirited performers, voices harmonized in a collective commitment to Dr. King’s vision. The parade served as a powerful reminder that, despite progress, the journey towards realizing the dream of a just society continues, igniting a renewed determination within the community to overcome challenges and foster inclusivity.
44th Annual MLK Breakfast “From Dream to Action”
The 44th Annual MLK Breakfast, titled “From Dream to Action,” was held on January 15, 2024, at Entrepreneur High School in Highland, CA. The event aimed to commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and inspire attendees to transform their dreams into tangible actions for positive societal change. Keynote speeches from influential civil rights activists, community leaders, and scholars emphasized the importance of taking concrete steps to address social injustices and promote equality. The event successfully brought together a diverse group of individuals, including faith leaders, fostering meaningful dialogue and collaboration to create a more just and equitable society.
Disney Imagineer First Since Walt to Receive this Honor

PGA Golf’s American Express Event at La Quinta is Back
The 2024 American Express will once again host some of the top professional golfers in the world and will be played in the desert in its 65th year at La Quinta, January 18-21. Formerly known as the Bob Hope Desert Classic dating back to 1960, the American Express will be played over three courses, La Quinta Country Club, Nicklaus Tournament Course and Pete Dye’s Stadium Course.
