Abbott Elementary was nominated for 24 Emmys at the 2024 Emmy Awards and took home four in the acting, casting, directing, and hair styling categories. Quinta Brunson shined in a Black Georges Chakra gown and we couldn’t keep our eyes off her co-star Tyler James Williams. Williams became a trending topic thanks to his red carpet-style. His sleeveless Dolce & Gabbana look; was styled by Ilaria Urbinati.

Even Good Morning America host Robin Roberts got tongue-tied while interviewing Williams. As another fan noted, Williams’ toned arms and tattoos were a combo we didn’t know we needed watching this year’s Emmys.

The Bear actress Liza Colón-Zayas made history as the first Latina woman to win an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy. Not only is it an overdue accomplishment for the Latin community, it is well deserved. Colón-Zayas is charming on screen as an employee of The Bear restaurant working her way up the ranks from sous chef. Colón-Zayas’ character garnered much praise in season one, and a whole episode dedicated to her storyline in season two. She beat out the likes of Meryl Streep and Sheryl Lee Ralph.

“Thank you to my husband David Zayas, he told me to write a speech and I didn’t because I didn’t think it would be possible,” Colón-Zayas said during her heartwarming acceptance speech. “How, how could I have thought it would be possible to be in the presence of Meryl Streep and Carol Burnett and Janelle [James] and Sheryl Lee Ralph and Hannah [Einbinder]. I love you all from the bottom of my heart, and all the women — my mommy, thank you.”
