South Carolina adds fourth linebacker to 2025 recruiting class
Donovan Darden formally jumped into South Carolina's 2025 recruiting class on Monday afternoon, to give the Gamecocks their fourth linebacker commitment. Darden, who's classified on 247Sports as a three-star edge prospect, announced his commitment to South Carolina over N.C. State and Illinois. All three hosted him for official visits last month. His offer sheet also includes Boston College, Michigan State, Michigan and West Virginia.
Ohio man who fled to South Carolina after stabbing wife pleads guilty, sentenced
A man who fled to South Carolina after stabbing his wife to death admitted his crime Monday before the case went to trial. Charles Rocker, 56, pleaded guilty to one count of murder in Franklin County Common Pleas Court. Judge Chris Brown sentenced Rocker to life in prison without the possibility of parole for 15 years.

Orangeburg pair accused of pulling guns on dad, 11-year-old
ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WIS) - The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office said two men have been arrested in connection with a robbery on Interstate 26. Lloyd Fulton, 18, and Terrance Jackson, 19, were arrested and each charged with two counts of armed robbery with a deadly weapon and two counts of possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
