VA Senators announce $625,000 to reduce youth substance use
HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – U.S. Senators Mark R. Warner and Tim Kaine announced on July 12th, $625,000 for community-based coalitions in Harrisonburg, Roanoke, Ashland, Rocky Mount, and Luray to reduce youth substance use. The funding was awarded through the Office of National Drug Control Policy’s Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program.

Tennessee’s Smokey Grey alternate uniforms are getting a refresh ahead of the 2024 season with the Vols fully unveiling the “Volunteer State” edition of the jerseys on Saturday morning. After teasing the release for weeks – and one leak of the new uniform on the hanger at a local sporting goods store – Tennessee shared a hype video and photos of the new look that prominently feature the iconic tri-star logo on the state’s flag. The main changes to the uniform are an orange version of the flag’s emblem on the side of the shoulders and a bold “Tennessee” across the front above the jersey numbers.
