Where is the fanfare and panache?
We are a people that don’t like ruts, so we make changes. The problem with that is that we are people that don’t like change. What we need to be is a people that learn to be content where we are, but always ready to move on to play the next note life prompts us to bellow. Remembering, however that change must not destroy who we are what defines us.
Shooting at stars and blaming others when we miss
Everybody speaks an opinion. Everyone chatters on about solution. Many want to go toe-to-toe and verbally debate who’s to blame when things go south. There are many people who have passed away since the officer in Minneapolis killed an innocent man, who rest silently. No opinions, no solutions, no anger. Their voices will never again be heard on this earth.

Chicken Piccata Pasta – It’s what’s for dinner
I am asked a lot, “what is piccata”? Well, even though it is an Italian word that means ‘larded’, it is also a translation of the French word ‘pique.’ piccata is basically a way of preparing food such as meat or fish which is sliced and sauteed in a sauce of lemon, butter and spices. This version is where I am using it as a sauce over pasta. You can use any type of pasta such as linguine, spaghetti, bowtie, penne, even orzo. I made this for the first time as a Father’s Day dinner and my husband went crazy over it! He can’t wait for the left overs…
