Guiliano, Christianson Set For Paris Olympics
The 2024 Paris Olympic Games will officially kick off on Friday night, and a pair of current Notre Dame men’s swimmers will compete: rising senior Chris Guiliano (Douglassville, Pa.) and rising graduate student Tyler Christianson (Easton, Md.). Guiliano, who has become one of the American favorites since the Olympic Trials, will swim at least five events in his Olympic debut. Individually, he qualified for the 50, 100 and 200 free, becoming the first American swimmer since Matt Biondi did so in 1988 to earn that slate. He will also compete in the 4×100 freestyle relay and the 4×200 freestyle relay....
MOT Senior All-Stars advance to World Series
The MOT Senior softball All-Stars will come home to compete for the Little League World Series. MOT defeated the host team Massachusetts District 4 to win the Senior League Softball Eastern Regional. 3 Injured in Route 1 Crash North of Lewes
A vehicle crash just after 9 Friday morning sent three people to area hospitals. Delaware State Police say a Volkswagen SUV driven by a 21 year old Rehoboth Beach woman was in the crossover at Route 1 and Minos Conaway Road when the driver pulled into the path of a southbound Ford Ranger – the Ranger, driven by a 24 year old Milford man, collided with the passenger side of the SUV. Neither driver was injured, but two 6 year old children in the SUV were flown to an area hospital with serious injuries. A passenger in the Ranger – a 20 year old man was transported by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.

New York Man Allegedly Found with Credit Card Skimming Tech in Salisbury
SALISBURY, MD - The Salisbury Police Department has announced the arrest of a New York man they say was in possession of items used for credit card skimming technology. According to police, officers pulled a car over on July 21st near Eastern Shore Drive and E. Carroll St. just after 9 p.m. After speaking with the driver, Ion Nantu of Glendale, NY, police say they searched the vehicle and discovered multiple items used in the installation and maintenance of credit card skimmers. Skimmers are used to fraudulently collect card and bank information at credit card readers.
Lady Dukes 11U softball team wins national championship
The Lady Dukes 11U softball program won a national title this past weekend at the USSSA Eastern National Championship on Sunday in Salisbury. The Lady Dukes finished the tournament with a 9-0 record and outscored their opponents 82-23.
