Wilmington is Constructing a New Community Park at Site of Former Rodney Street Reservoir
With demolition of the former water reservoir complete, $2 million park project will provide City residents with a new location for relaxation and enjoyment. The conversion of a former unused and unsafe water reservoir basin to a beautiful new City park has begun. Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki today joined with City Public Works Commissioner Kelly Williams, City Parks and Recreation Director Ian Smith, and City Council Member Bregetta Fields to share details of the new park project.

Delaware's sports organizations are invited to take part in the second round of funding aiming to attract more regional and national events to the First State.
