Full Tax Millage Rollback Announced By BOC And BOE
(Cleveland)- The White County Board of Commissioners has announced that they will take a full rollback on the 2024 county tax millage rate. The commissioners announced Tuesday that they will hold a called meeting on Friday, August 9, at 8:30 AM for the purpose of setting the tax millage rate for the county.
‘Fore’ The Community Golf Tournament set for July 29 to benefit Habersham Co. Animal Shelter
The “Fore” The Community golf tournament will take place on Monday, July 29, with a shotgun start at 9am at Apple Mountain Golf Course in Hollywood. Cost of playing is $500 per team or $125 per player, with proceeds benefiting the Habersham County Animal Shelter. Breakfast and lunch will be provided to registered players. The animal shelter also will have door prizes and a silent auction. Each player will get one Mulligan, one Tee Buster, and one toss during the tournament. North Georgia Athletics Takes Final Step In Brand Standardization With Updated NG Monogram
DAHLONEGA - The University of North Georgia athletic department has unveiled the final phase of its comprehensive branding initiative in collaboration with Rickabaugh Graphics. This phase introduces a refreshed NG logo designed to complement the Nighthawks' recently updated family of wordmarks. North Georgia will start implementing its enhanced athletics branding immediately with a phased rollout covering uniforms, facilities and digital spaces over the course of the 2024-25 season.

The University of North Georgia's (UNG) Athletics Department and the Athletics Hall of Fame Committee have announced the 14th class of the UNG Athletics Hall of Fame.
