Utah fire crews make progress on Graff Point Fire despite low containment
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Fire crews experienced low to moderate fire behavior today, contributing to an additional 10-15 acres of growth. Crews gained access to the fire and attacked it directly, making good progress building a fire line, according to Utah Fire. Graff Point Fire continues to grow south of Cedar City as temps rise, humidity drops
CEDARY CITY, Utah (KUTV) — The Graff Point Fire burning nearly five miles south of Cedar City grew another 150 acres overnight Sunday into Monday. Utah Fire authorities said the blaze was estimated at 543 acres by 9:30 a.m. on July 15. On Sunday, the fire was said to be just short of 300 acres.

CEDAR CITY — Every year on my social media pages, I place the shows I’ve seen that year (whether I reviewed them or attended as a guest) into categories; the highest being “Upper Echelon of Shows I’ve Ever Seen.” Let me not bury the lede here. Simonfest’s production of Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling was in the upper echelon of any show I’ve ever seen. I’m seriously debating seeing it again despite living 250+ miles away. I have two minor critiques of the show which I’ll start with, but you’ll be hard pressed to find a better show for your time and money. I laughed, I cried, and I have thought about the show regularly since.
