Top 10 Louisiana HS football players in Class of 2025
BATON ROUGE, La. (BVM) – The Louisiana football prep scene is dominated by LSU commits. Six of the top 10 seniors in the state are committed to the local school. There is a lot of other talent in the Bayou State heading elsewhere with players in the Class of 2025 heading to Michigan, Texas, Miami and Mississippi State.

Jeff Landry names son of late board member to LSU board
Blaise Zuschlag will finish out the term of his late father Richard Zuschlag on the LSU Board of Supervisors, Gov. Jeff Landry announced Friday. Richard Zuschlag, who founded and was chairman and CEO of powerhouse medical transport company Acadian Companies, died in June from complications following cancer treatment. His term as board member-at-large ends May 31, 2028.

A FLOOD WATCH is in effect for Baton Rouge and areas to the south and east through Saturday Evening. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of small creeks and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris. Monitor the forecast and be alert for possible Flood Warnings.
