An MRI confirmed the severity of Darrisaw’s injury. Darrisaw allowed just ten pressures and two sacks this season on 231 pass-blocking snaps played. According to Pro Football Focus, Darrisaw was one of the best left tackles in football this season, with an 81.4 overall grade, 79.9 pass-blocking grade, and an 82.3 run-blocking grade. </p><p> Darrisaw performed similarly well the previous two seasons and earned a career-best 90.3 grade at PFF in 2022. </p><p> Darrisaw joined the Minnesota Vikings as the 23rd overall pick in the 2021 draft and quickly demonstrated his value as a cornerstone left tackle. Vikings Lose LT Christian Darrisaw for the Season

Minnesota’s starting left tackle Christian Darrisaw left last night’s loss with an injury, and testing today confirmed their fears that it is a season-ending knee surgery. 



Darrisaw suffered the knee injury just before halftime of Thursday night’s 30-20 loss to Los Angeles and did not return. An MRI confirmed the severity of Darrisaw’s injury. Seven-year veteran David Quessenberry replaced him for the remainder of the game.
