    Grissom High student Tyler Watts advances to U.S. Junior Amateur finals

    BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. (WHNT) — North Alabama native and current Grissom High School student Tyler Watts has advanced to the final round of the U.S. Junior Amateur Golf Championship.

    On Friday, Watts cruised through the quarterfinals and semifinals, beating Matthew Diehl and Jay Lenge.

    Fyffe linebacker Logan Anderson commits to Clemson

    Watts advanced past Owen Coniaris in the round of 16 Thursday after strong performances in the first four rounds.

    He will play for the championship on Saturday against Trevor Gutschewski, tee time is set for 7:30 A.M.
