Popular New Paltz Bar Ends Lengthy Legal Battle
After months of legal battles, the owners of a popular New Paltz, NY bar & restaurant have ended their legal battles. Back in April, we told you that P & G's "a cornerstone" in New Paltz, New York had their license to sell liquor suspended after New York State authorities conducted a raid in March that resulted in four bartenders being charged with serving underage patrons and numerous customers getting tickets for using fake IDs.

A popular Hudson Valley destination for miniature golf may be forced out by new owners. Eight years ago, DC Sports took over the former Fun Central location on Route 9 in Wappingers Falls. Since then, the sports complex has undergone an extensive renovation with state-of-the-art golf simulators, facility upgrades and a new kitchen and bar.

Burt To Throw For the DI Marist Red Foxes
Jersey Blues sophomore stand-out pitcher, Jake Burt (Wall High School), will continue his career as a Red Fox at DI Marist College. In the 2024 season, Burt accomplished a 10-0 record with a 3.48 ERA and 70 strikeouts in just 14 appearances. With those accomplishments, he earned All-GSAC Pitcher of the Year, First team All-GSAC, NJCAA DIII Second Team All-American, and NJCAA DIII First Team All-Region.
