During the Indiana Fever's 83-78 win over the New York Liberty on July 6, Caitlin Clark's name was written in the league's history books once again.

Finishing with 19 points, 13 assists, and 12 rebounds, Clark became the first rookie in WNBA history to score a triple-double. The home crowd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse immediately rose to their feet to give Clark a standing ovation when she clinched the historic feat in the fourth quarter.

When Clark addressed the fans after the game, the crowd erupted into such a thunderous applause, it was difficult to hear what the 22-year-old said.

"Great game," Clark said, giving credit to the fans for making the arena such an electric atmosphere, fueling their comeback over the Liberty. "I don’t know if I would’ve won without you, so I appreciate it!"

The No. 1 overall pick expanded on her thoughts during the postgame press conference. "Honestly, I’m just happy we won,” Clark told reporters. "Again, I take a lot of pride in doing different things for this team."

Fever forward Aliyah Boston said of Clark, "She's so humble, isn't she? Well, I'll tell you. That's very cool, Caitlin. Good job sister."

The rookie came close to recording her first triple-double against Phoenix Mercury on June 30 with 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 12 assists -- falling one stat short. During the Fever's win over New York, Clark also became the fastest player to reach 350+ points and 150+ assists.

The Fever are now 9-13 after taking down the league's best team. Indiana will look to keep the momentum going when they face the Washington Mystics on July 10.
