Caitlin Clark's Three-Word Message For Fever Teammate Leaves Fans Excited For August 16

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are away from the basketball court as the WNBA takes its month-long midseason break for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The rookie sensation and the rest of her Indiana teammates are all taking some much-needed time off before they resume their season with a matchup against the Phoenix Mercury on August 16.

The Fever's return to the court could mean the long-awaited return of Indiana forward Temi Fagbenle, who's missed the last five games with a right thumb injury.

Fagbenle shared a new post on Instagram, and Clark took to the comments with a simple message for her Fever teammate.

"Obsessed w you," the No. 1 overall pick wrote.

This comment has fans excited for Fagbenle's eventual return to the court and her growing connection with Clark.

"She's a great passer, and she's always going to pass it when I'm open," Fagbenle said of Clark earlier this season. "It's really amazing, because we haven't had many practices together... I've only had a few of those kind of point guards, who you just know sees the play before it's happened.

"Regular point guards, I'm like, they didn't see it... but Caitlin saw that before I was open."

Clark and the Fever will welcome the Mercury for a highly-anticipated matchup at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on August 16.
