We are finding out a location in Dubuque County hit hard by yesterday’s storm was Camp Albrect Acres near Sherrill. On their social media pages, camp leaders say all campers are safe, but the camp sustained lots of damage with downed trees falling on some of the buildings and they are still without power and internet service.

Sewer Mains Being Cleaned in Peosta
Peosta officials have announced that Kruser Septic Service is cleaning sewer mains in the city throughout this week and next. Residents may “experience a gurgling sound in toilets” when workers are in their area. Officials recommend keeping toilet lids shut.
