    PD: Drunk driver flees police by driving through yard

    BLOOMSBURG, COLUMBIA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say they arrested a man for DUI after he drove through a yard trying to get away from officers.

    According to the Bloomsburg Police Department, officers tried to stop a car on July 27 around 3:00 a.m. after the driver, Justin Cook, 41, was seen driving erratically.

    Man accused of inappropriate contact with 13-year-old

    Police say in an attempt to get away from officers, Cook drove through a yard and bottomed out on a curb, disabling the car.

    Cook was found to be under the influence of alcohol and police say his BAC was .189%. He now faces DUI charges.
