Fundraiser coming up for Helping Hands Society
PA live (WBRE) — The Helping Hands Society is a non-profit organization for special needs and typical children in Luzerne, Carbon, and Schuylkill counties. The Helping Hands Society welcomes all children and never turns its back on those families that cannot afford the developmental therapies they need. Instead, the organization relies on the generosity of the public to assist in helping our community’s children succeed in life, in and out of the classroom.

Local hospitals impacted by global tech outage
Williamsport, Pa. — Local healthcare systems and hospitals faced disruptions due to the global technology outage today. Men's Soccer Unveils 2024 Signing Class
BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - Bloomsburg men's soccer coach Mark Bassett unveiled the programs 2024 signing class, featuring 11 newcomers to the program. 10 of the 11 players come from three states. Multi-state deli meat-linked listeria outbreak kills New Jersey resident
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is warning Americans about a listeria outbreak that has sickened more than two dozen people across 12 states, believe to be linked to deli meat.As of Friday, 28 people have fallen ill -- all of whom have been hospitalized -- and two people have died, one from Illinois and one from New Jersey, according to the federal health agency.New York is the state with the most cases at seven, followed by Maryland with six.
