PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) Montgomery County authorities have arrested a Philadelphia man accused of killing a pregnant woman in a hit-and-run crash last month. The driver, they say, was driving while intoxicated.

Jabrial Terry was arrested by U.S. Marshals on Tuesday and charged with two counts of homicide by vehicle while DUI, as well as drug charges.

Investigators say the 27-year-old was driving the 2000 Buick LeSabre that struck a Toyota Corolla on May 4th on Skippack Pike near Sheaff Lane in Blue Bell. A passenger inside the Corolla, 24-year-old Nya Stokes, was found unresponsive.

Stokes, who was nine months pregnant, was rushed to a hospital where she was ultimately pronounced dead. Doctors performed an emergency C-section to deliver the baby. The child died five days later.

Officers found marijuana and several pills in Terry's possession at the scene. A blood test also found fentanyl, oxycodone, and other drugs in his system.

Terry's bail is set at $99,000. He's due in court on July 10th for his preliminary hearing.
