July 18, 2024 – The Decatur Area Arts Council will host Mac n’ Cheese Fest on Saturday, July 20th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at Fairview Park Pavilion. There will be a variety of macaroni and cheese-inspired dishes prepared by local restaurants, food vendors, and caterers. Each participant will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite dish, with the top choice receiving the “Big Cheese” Award.

2024 CONSERVATION PRACTICE ADOPTION MOTIVATIONS SURVEY
(SPRINGFIELD) The USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) are teaming up to conduct the 2024 Conservation Practice Adoption Motivations Survey (CPAMS). The 43,000 forest and grazing landowners and managers taking part nationwide can respond online at agcounts.usda.gov or by mail. The NASS will reach out to schedule interviews if there’s no response by August 1st. A data highlights publication is scheduled to be published online at nass.usda.gov in October.
