Dash camera shows California man ramming his car into Summit County patrol cars
PARK CITY — Newly obtained dash camera shows a California man convicted of reckless endangerment hitting police cars with his truck while fleeing from officers. On the night of Oct. 8, 2023, Summit County sheriff’s deputies were looking for a suspect involved in a hit-and-run accident near Kilby Road. According to court documents, a deputy spotted the suspect’s vehicle entering a roundabout and traveling in the wrong direction.

TOOELE, Utah — Multiple Tooele power outages have residents complaining. However, Rocky Mountain Power says there’s a good reason behind them. The power outages have been on purpose according to Jona Whitesides of Rocky Mountain Power. It’s part of an effort to harden the power lines by wrapping the poles with flame resistant fabric, replacing wooden poles with steel towers and powering down lines when weather or wildfire threats are detected.

Friends of the Helper Area Selling Raffle Tickets for Helper Express Playground
Friends of the Helper Area, a 501(C)3 nonprofit founded in 2021, is raising funds for a community project to create The Helper Express Inclusive Playground. At the heart of the Helper Express Playground is a large train structure that will be the main attraction and accessible to all kids including kids who use wheelchairs.
