Chamber officials hopeful for hot summer to bring back historic pastime

The Chamber of Commerce of the Two Virginias is offering free lemonade this Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

You can find their locations at the Tailyard Dog Park in Bluefield, West Virginia and Jack Asbury Square and Lotito City Park Bluefield, Virginia.

    This tradition began in 1939.

The thermometer used to determine the temperature for Bluefield is at the Mercer County Airport.
