Collectables are classified as any object having value or interest to a collector. The Spookables collectors shop in Bluefield is filled to the brim with all sorts of items that draw the eye.

“It used to be kind of something, as far as adults collecting toys. It’s not something you wanted people to know. But now it’s cool,” said Jason Scott, the owner of the store.

The rise in collectables spikes with social media trends as well. Scott said it’s refreshing to see collectables being embraced instead of ridiculed.

Spookables is open every day from noon until 7 p.m. The shop is located at 4141 Coal Heritage Rd in Bluefield.
