Bluefield Area Transit recognized at State Transit Awards

BLUEFIELD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Crew members with Bluefield Area Transit were recently recognized at the State Transit Awards event.

The BAT team was honored at the recent State Transit Awards where Robert “Bob” Nelson was recognized with the prestigious Outstanding Transit Driver of the Year award. John Reeves was awarded with both the Best Community Project – Honorable Mention and Best Safety Program.

Phillip “Skeet” Hickman was recognized as Maintenance Employee of the Year, and Olivia Lawson was named Transit Employee of the Year.
