A Kentucky college student who recently traveled overseas has been diagnosed with measles and has potentially exposed the highly contagious virus to others.

Here is what we know from the Barren River Health District and the Kentucky Department for Public Health:

    • The student attends Western Kentucky University. The identity of the student has not been disclosed.
    • The student is unvaccinated and is believed to have contracted measles during recent international travel.
    • After returning, the student attended public events on August 28, 29, and 30, while infectious. Potential exposure locations include the Commons at Helms Library on Aug. 28, the WKU Student Union Starbucks on Aug. 28, and Simply Ramen Trivia Night on Aug. 29.

I wonder what things will look like in 15 years when this next generation now skeptical of vaccines arrives on campus? This is what happens when definitions are changed for political reasons...
