Community Blood Center of the Ozarks declares blood emergency | Here's how to donate
BENTONVILLE, Ark. — The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO) has declared a blood emergency due to "an unusually high blood demand." To make matters worse, the donation center said it has experienced "lower than expected participation" in its recent blood drives. CBCO said this is the lowest blood supply seen in over two years.
