Last week during devotions at the Clinchfield Senior Adult Center we talked about forgiveness. I often ask myself what does it truly mean to forgive someone? Forgiveness isn’t an easy thing to do. We can say we forgive someone but as soon as the problem presents itself again, do those emotions creep up on you like it just happened? Unforgiveness can leave us bitter. It can harden our heart and make us less sensitive to others. It’s so important to clear your conscience and not harbor bitterness inside you. Forgiveness removes a burden that you decide not to carry. It releases emotions from your body and sets you free.
