Missing Bluff City man found safe in Alabama

Update: The TBI says Finnegan was found safe in Huntsville, Alabama.

BLUFF CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Bluff City man who may be in Alabama.

According to the TBI, 73-year-old Michael Finnegan was last seen earlier Friday and may be traveling in a maroon 2014 Subaru Outback with Tennessee tag BJX8899 in the Huntsville, Alabama area.

Finnegan has a medical condition that may affect his ability to return safely without assistance, according to the TBI.

Finnegan is 5-foot 6-inches tall, weighs 160 pounds, and has gray hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call the Bluff City Police Department at 423-538-3700 or the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
