Highs Saturday will be in the 90s for most of us, with the hottest conditions out west. By Sunday, the heat shifts farther east with highs in the 90s and feels like temperatures in the low triple digits! As such we have declared both Saturday and Sunday First Alert Weather Days. If you’re participating in the Sioux Falls Marathon, make sure to stay hydrated! While temperatures will be relatively cool for the start of the marathon, dew points will still be in the upper 60s and low 70s making for a very muggy morning. All the heat and humidity will also fuel storm potential Sunday night into Monday. A Level 1 and 2 Severe Risk have been placed over much of the region for Sunday night, with main threats being strong winds and large hail.
