Porsche Claims Pole at Le Mans Amid BMW Crash Drama
In a thrilling conclusion to the Hyperpole session at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Kevin Estre secured pole position for Porsche Penske Motorsport with a last-gasp effort, narrowly beating Cadillac’s Alex Lynn. Estre clocked a 3:24.634 in the final moments aboard the No. 6 Porsche 963, edging out Lynn by 0.148 seconds. Unfortunately, the BMW WRT hadn’t had the same luck after securing the fastest lap the day before. Earlier in the session, #15 BMW M Hybrid V8 driven by Dries Vanthoor crashed into the barriers at Indianapolis. This incident eliminated Vanthoor from contention and disrupted the session’s momentum.
2025 BMW M240i Zandvoort Blue Shows Up In Configurator
Get used to seeing Zandvoort Blue on something other than the M2. With the 2025 2 Series Coupe, BMW is adding this color choice to the lesser M240i as well. The German configurator has gone live, showing the solid paint finish together with fresh 19-inch wheels. In Europe, the M Performance model now comes with the M high-gloss Shadow Line and sun protection glazing as standard equipment.

These special colors join the existing Frozen Pure Grey and Portimao Blue finishes.
2025 BMW M5 Is Coming Soon According To New Teaser
BMW has typically exhibited restraint in its teaser campaigns leading up to the reveal of new models. However, it has changed the modus operandi for the next-gen M5 by previewing the super sedan on multiple occasions. The G90 is back in yet another official preview, announcing the world premiere is “coming soon.” As we previously reported, the AMG E63 competitor is scheduled to premiere in the last week of June.

BMW Kills The M240i With Rear-Wheel Drive In Europe
When BMW introduced the current-generation 2 Series Coupe in July 2021, the M Performance model originally came only in xDrive flavor. However, a rear-wheel-drive derivative was launched in the following summer. Europeans are already saying goodbye to the tail-happy M240i since it’s gone from the lineup. With the changes brought by the 2025 model year, the sports coupe goes AWD-only on the Old Continent.
2025 BMW M2 Goes Official With More Power and New Colors
2025 BMW M2 Gets 473 HP (480 PS) The second-generation M2 had its global market launch a little over a ago and it’s already getting a series of upgrades. While it may look the same as before, the G87 is now packing a greater punch by featuring a stronger inline-six engine. The twin-turbo 3.0-liter mill now makes 473 horsepower, an extra 20 hp over the previous iteration of the S58 unit. Stick to the manual gearbox and the torque remains unchanged, at 406 lb-ft.
2025 BMW 2 Series Coupe Gets New Colors And Interior Tweaks
BMW doesn’t have that much competition to worry about for its 2 Series Coupe. Nevertheless, it’s been occasionally updating the G42 to keep it fresh. For the 2025 model year, there are some minor cosmetic changes along with up-to-date technology to keep up with recent products. Starting on the outside, customers can now opt for Vegas Red and Skyscraper Grey metallic paints for the 2025 BMW 2 Series models.

Review: 2024 BMW M2 Epitomizes All That’s Good About ///M
BMW makes most of its money these days by selling tall crossovers and SUVs. This isn’t yet true for BMW, thankfully, but given the direction the industry seems headed, as well as the fact that the first bespoke M model is a 2.8-ton SUV, the days of nimble, sporty M sedans and coupes could be numbered. A couple of decades from now, there may not be enough buyers to justify their creation.
BMW iX5 Hydrogen Debuts at Art Basel with Es Devlin’s Stunning Artwork
At the 2024 Art Basel, BMW made a striking impression by unveiling a uniquely artistic color scheme for the iX5 Hydrogen. The new design, created by renowned artist Es Devlin, stood out brilliantly amidst the vibrant and creative crowd. The intricate exterior, featuring Devlin’s distinctive collage painting, captured the essence of both technological innovation and artistic expression, making the iX5 Hydrogen a centerpiece in an event filled with art enthusiasts. Thirty of these hydrogen-powered vehicles were used to shuttle VIPs around Basel, showcasing the practicality and efficiency of hydrogen as a fuel source.
See The 2025 MINI Cooper 5-Door In John Cooper Works Trim
MINI introduced the new Cooper 5-Door yesterday but without showing us how the sporty John Cooper Works Trim. However, that omission has now been rectified as the German configurator is already up and running. Seen here is the more potent Cooper S in the confusing JCW Trim that’s all show without any extra go. A real JCW variant of the F65 is not planned, but the 3-Door F66 will get one later this year.
2025 Volkswagen Golf R Breaks Cover As BMW M135 Rival
BMW introduced the M135 a week ago and it’s already facing stiff competition coming from the new Volkswagen Golf R. Unlike Bavaria’s hot hatch, Wolfsburg’s compact performance model has had its US visa approved. In Europe, VW will continue to sell a more practical wagon version for which the M division sadly doesn’t have a direct competitor.
2025 MINI Cooper 5-Door Debuts With Simplified Cabin
If you were expecting more variety from the new Cooper 5-Door, prepare to be disappointed. Codenamed F65, the new MINI sticks to the tried-and-tested formula by serving as a more practical alternative to the Cooper 3-Door. That’s hardly a surprise since the Oxford-based marque was never going to make it significantly different than the F66.
2025 BMW M4 – Photos, Specs, Features and Pricing
The 2025 BMW M4 debuts with a slightly freshened-up look and some notable changes compared to last year’s model. While the recipe stays the same, the newest version brings some cool new flavors, including a new M4 CS model that slots between the track-focused CSL and more street-oriented Competition models. It’s the first year of the LCI (facelifted) model, and it’s not likely to see many changes before production ends in a few years, so if you like the G82/G83 M4, it might be time to think about picking one up. Major additions for the new year include new lighting elements in the front and back, a slightly revised cockpit, and a little more power for all-wheel drive models.
2024 BMW X6 M Drag Races Ferrari Purosangue
Although the BMW X6 M Competition and Ferrari Purosangue are both high-performance SUVs, the two play in different leagues. The former costs about $131,000 while the latter retails for roughly $400,000 before you add options. Nevertheless, here are the two speedy luxobarges fighting in a drag race alongside other similar vehicles.
2025 BMW i4 M50 Star Ruby Arrives At The BMW Welt
The i4 M50 isn’t a real M but that’s not stopping BMW from saying it’s the best-selling car from M. It earned that title in 2022 and kept it last year as well. As with the lesser 4 Series Gran Coupe and i4, it recently went through a Life Cycle Impulse. To better show off the changes brought by the 2025MY, a high-end version was photographed outside the BMW Welt in Munich.
2024 BMW 5 Series Gets Tiny 1.6-Liter Engine In Turkey
It’s a big world out there, and if BMW wants to remain the best-selling luxury brand, it needs to adapt to specific market conditions. In December 2021, we talked about the 5 Series with a 1.6-liter engine for the 520i sold in Turkey. That was based on the previous-generation G30 model. The new G60 is available in the country, and sure enough, it too has a downsized powertrain.
Watch The BMW iX2 Undergo The Slalom And Moose Tests
Crossovers are inherently less agile than regular cars due to their higher center of gravity. In addition, SUVs are typically heavier, and that added bulk further impacts handling and maneuverability. EVs add even more fat, as is the case here with the BMW iX2. However, this version evaluated by the Spanish journalists at KM77 has an adaptive M suspension that sharpens things up a bit.
New MINI Cooper E Poses In Sunny Greece
After giving us a closer look at the new 3-Door Hatch with a combustion engine, MINI Greece is showing off its electric cousin. While the gas model was a hotter S variant, this is a base E model instead of the feisty SE. Mind you, the two cars may look similar but they’re based on different platforms and built more than 5,500 miles apart.
