    Coroner: 24-year-old woman killed after police chase identified

    MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Marshall County Coroner’s Office has identified a 24-year-old woman who was killed following a police chase.

    According to officials, the Marshall County Coroner’s Office was notified by the Huntsville Hospital Trauma Center that 24-year-old Macey Justice, of Boaz was pronounced dead after being airlifted for treatment following a car accident during a police chase with the Albertville Police Department.

    ALEA said Justice was killed when the 1995 Ford Ranger she was driving left the roadway, struck a culvert, and then a tree.

    The investigation has been turned over to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. The Marshall County Coroner’s Office is also assisting in the investigation.
