Madeline Jaymes is moving in perfect harmony. The local South Florida singer-songwriter is quickly making a buzz on the music scene.

“Music is what makes my soul tick,” says Jaymes. “My whole life, I’ve had a deep connection with music. It’s an outlet for my emotions, experiences, and passion for writing. My goal is to help connect people through my music.”

The 21-year-old, who just graduated cum laude from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, is now using social media to connect with her fans and continue to gain recognition as a rising star within the industry.

“I look forward to performing on stage and learning from people with the same passion for music,” says Jaymes. “I plan on performing at local event spaces in our community like Boca’s Funky Biscuit, along with doing live shows streamed on social media, including TikTok.”

Jaymes is a verified artist on all streaming platforms, hitting over 4,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and over 84,000 plays for her single “Bitter Sweet.” And her Tik- Tok account has over 651,000 likes.

“My music is indie pop; I am creating a new album that is more within the indie genre. I am working on reaching my audience with a ‘micro album’ that will come out this summer with three to four songs and other albums to follow,” says Jaymes.

She currently records at the world-renowned Circle House Studios in Miami and collaborates with the South Florida based record label 1217 Entertainment.

She’s released three singles, including “Bitter Sweet,” inspired by her personal relationships. She has also worked with songwriter The Songman, who helped create “Happy Birthday” and “Hero.”

Jayme’s second single, “Hero,” honors heroes and their bravery. It includes a special feature with Lara Trump, wife of Donald Trump’s son Eric.

“Lara heard the song “Hero” at Circle House Studios while I was there recording. She connected with me, and we collaborated on the song and now have become good friends,” says Jaymes. “It will be a lot of fun to create the video. I love to be in the city, and being there with Lara will be very impactful!”

The duo is set to shoot a music video for the song in New York City this summer.

Jaymes has pinned photos of the pair on her social media pages, and Lara Trump shared the single on Instagram, stating, “I am honored to have worked on this record with the super talented Madeline Jaymes.”

“I also plan on working with other artists on collaborations, including local ones,” says Jaymes. “I write most of my music but enjoy singing songs written by others, including The Songman.”

Jaymes recently performed on stage at Reggae Month Jam in Fort Lauderdale. The annual event celebrates the Caribbean culture and history of reggae in Florida.

“Reggae Jam was amazing! The festival was beautiful along with the people that were there. It was a moving concert, so people would come and go as they walked around, including families,” says Jaymes. “It was a celebration of creativity! A girl was making permanent jewelry; I had a bracelet done to remember the performance.”

Jaymes is also making a mark with brand collaborations, including the South Florida retail store Mora Surf Boutique.

“I did a little collaboration with the Mora Girls, and I am also a photographer for them,” says Jaymes.

Jaymes plans to represent South Florida in iHeart Radio’s talent competition and expand her artistic work.

“I am also writing a novel! It is a fantasy novel; I am super excited about it and planning on having it done and to publishers by the end of the summer after I come back from filming in New York,” says Jaymes.
