As summer begins to fade and autumn approaches, a familiar transition period enters our lives. For our family, the end of summer signals the beginning of a new school year, a time filled with anticipation, excitement and, sometimes, a bit of apprehension. As Catholic parents, my wife and I strive to guide our four children through this transition smoothly, grounding our efforts in faith and practical preparation.

LSU’s Ashton Larson named an All-Star in the Cape Cod League
LSU freshman outfielder Ashton Larson played for the Chatham Anglers in the Cape Cod Summer League after having a good season with the Tigers. He carried that momentum to the Anglers and has been recognized as an All-Star in the Cape Cod League. Larson played 19 games for the Anglers and finished with a .300 batting average, eight stolen bases and eight RBI. He will start in the outfield for the East Division in the All-Star game. Larson finished his freshman season at LSU with a .298 batting average. He had nine doubles, three homers, and 16 RBI in 53 games played....

LSU leads the way in Cole Cubelic’s SEC offensive line rankings
Former Auburn offensive lineman and current SEC Network analyst Cole Cubelic recently ranked the top offensive lines in the SEC. The LSU Tigers are No. 1 on his board followed by Georgia, Texas, Tennessee and Missouri. When you look at LSU’s offensive line, there are two huge reasons why the Tigers are sitting at No. 1 on Cubelic’s list. Those reasons? Will Campbell and Emery Jones Jr..
