PURCELL, OKLA (KOKH) — The Purcell Animal Shelter sent out a notice to Purcell about new procedures about their abandonment policy and accepting animals. According to Purcell Animal Shelter, the number of dogs coming from outside city limits has been overwhelming, leading to the shelter prioritizing resources within city limits.

Carl Stone of Trenton, Texas was declared the winner of the competition's second grand prize $1 million drawing, the casino announced in a press release.
