HOOPESTON — Hoopeston police arrested two men on Thursday on charges of possession of methamphetamine. Officers arrested Anthony J. Chandler, 42, around 1 a.m. near West Maple Street and South First Avenue after learning he had an active warrant from Vermilion County for failure to appear in court for possession of meth.
