All City Art Club awarded National Academy of Design’s 2023 Abbey Mural Prize
Southside’s own All City Art Club were one of five projects selected as recipients of the National Academy of Design’s 2023 Abbey Mural Prize. The prize money will allow the group to paint a new collection of murals “throughout Southside Richmond and other areas of the city needing art that is created with care & purpose.”

2024 SCHEDULE RICHMOND, Va. – Road trips to Arizona, Rutgers and N.C. State, as well as a competitive 18-match Atlantic 10 Conference slate, highlight VCU's 2024 schedule, released Wednesday. The Rams, in their second season under Head Coach Tim Doyle , will kick off the 2024 campaign on Saturday, Aug. 31 at the Cactus Classic against host Arizona in Tucson, Ariz. The Rams will take on Boise State the following day before returning home to host Virginia Tech (Sept. 6) and Winthrop (Sept. 7) at the Stuart C. Siegel Center in the VCU Invitational.
