MURFREESBORO, TN - WGNS has gained more insight into the recently canceled Notes Live entertainment venue that was planned for Murfreesboro. Initially, seeing the economic value generated by future ticket sales, the City allocated 20 acres along Medical Center Parkway to Notes Live developers for the construction of an indoor banquet hall, upscale restaurant, and outdoor amphitheater. However, Murfreesboro Mayor Shane McFarland stated that the City called off the deal when the developers changed their plans, eliminating the originally proposed restaurant and banquet hall.

Paris Man Taken Into Custody After 6 1/2 Hour Standoff
Paris, Tenn.–A Paris man was taken into custody after a 6 1/2 hour standoff with Henry County Sheriff’s deputies and Paris Police. Charles Kroner of 400 Clifty Village Lane was charged with reckless endangerment and resisting arrest and was taken to the Henry County Jail. A bond of $10,000 has been set.
