Kayaker rescued from Duck River in Maury County
COLUMBIA, Tenn. (WSMV) - An injured kayaker was pulled from a waterway in Columbia on Saturday. The Maury County Fire Department sent crews to the Duck River near Carpenters Bridge to help the injured kayaker. A homeowner allowed them access to a private boat ramp which allowed units to launch a raft closer to the kayaker’s location, the MCFD said.
