DSA will continue shopping incentive program until end of month
The Downtown Sheridan Association will continue the “Bear with us Shopping Spree” until the beginning of August. While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Executive Director of the DSA, Zoila Perry, alerted the public to the continued program that was used during the Sheridan Main Street Resurfacing and Utility Upgrade Project to incentivise people to shop in downtown Sheridan.

Wildfire likely caused by lighting extinguished on Casper Mountain on Sunday
CASPER, Wyo. — A small wildfire located in the same area as the 2012 Sheep Herder Fire was extinguished over the weekend. Second Cheyenne Frontier Days Grand Parade Slated For Tuesday
The second of four Cheyenne Frontier Days 2024 Parades is scheduled for Tuesday morning at 9 in downtown Cheyenne. Have you ever wondered how the CFD parades got started?. UW Planetarium Renovations Scheduled Aug. 5-14
The University of Wyoming Harry C. Vaughan Planetarium will undergo renovations and technical upgrades early next month. The planetarium will be closed Aug. 5-14 so that the facility’s two bulb-based projectors can be replaced with new laser projectors. In fall 2023, the planetarium began the procurement process to replace its projectors with a brand-new system. The successful search was completed in May.

Torrington hosts the 2024 Wyoming American Legion Baseball Class ‘B’ State Championship Tournament from July 25-29. These teams are either the second or third tier in programs around the state. The players are 17 years old and younger. Eight teams are part of a double-elimination bracket. All games are seven innings in length. The tournament games are at Bullock Field located at the Torrington Sports Complex.
