Active warrants land two Bonifay women behind bars

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Fla. ( WMBB ) – On Friday, active warrants landed two Bonifay women behind bars in Washington County.

According to a news release, just before 11 a.m., Washington County investigators observed two females walking down Highway 90.

One of the females looked familiar to investigators and was confirmed to have an active warrant for violating probation on burglary charges, authorities said. 35-year-old Jessica Lynn Parrett was taken into custody.

Investigators said a brief check of the other individual’s information revealed she also had an active warrant out of Holmes County for possession of methamphetamine. 22-year-old Hailey Faith Reid was taken into custody.

Further investigation revealed Parrett and Reid to be in possession of a glass smoking pipe, authorities said.

Both were booked into the Washington County Jail on active warrants and possession of drug paraphernalia.
