SANTA CLARA POLO CLUB UNVEILS 2024 FALL SEASON SCHEDULE
Santa Clara Polo Club located in Wellington, Florida, has announced it will host a Florida Circuit Regional President’s Cup qualifier from October 24 to November 2, 2024. The winners will move on to compete in the National President’s Cup at the National Polo Center – Wellington (Wellington, Florida) in April 2025.

There are many reasons to see The SpongeBob Musical that have nothing to do with the fact that Tony Award-winning Ethan Slater played the (Tony award-winning) role of SpongeBob on Broadway before he hooked up with Grammy winner Ariana Grande, whereupon they both wrecked their marriages, leaving Slater’s now ex-wife with a newborn baby (whew!). No homes will be wrecked in this production staged by the Los Altos Youth Theater, as it promises a night of appropriate for all ages hilarious fun that audiences have come to expect from a singing sponge living in a pineapple under the sea. Runs through July 28.
Officials investigate Coggins Fire in La Honda

On July 12, firefighters responded to a fire in La Honda which engulfed a manufactured home, multiple outbuildings and three trailers, according to a Cal Fire social media post. Fire officials call the incident the Coggins Fire and stated that flames did not spread toward nearby wildland and no one was injured.

The long-term joint initiative between CAPE Analytics and EagleView expands the coverage, recency, history, and resiliency of CAPE’s market-leading property analytics across the United States for use in insurance underwriting and rating, as well as real estate lending, according to a statement from CAPE.
JLL secures $43.8M financing for Courtyard San Jose Campbell
JLL Capital Markets has secured $43.8 million in bridge financing for the Courtyard San Jose Campbell, a 162-key hotel located in Campbell, CA, in Silicon Valley. JLL represented the borrower, an affiliate of Huntington Hotel Group, to secure a floating rate loan through Prime Finance with a term of up to five years including extensions. The JLL team has been involved with the project since its inception and arranged construction-to-permanent financing for the hotel in 2008. Proceeds of the refinance were used to retire that facility, as well as provide funds for the upcoming brand-mandated Property Improvement Plan (PIP).

The Mercury News published a nice introduction into what the owners of the soon to be opening 7 Stars Bar and Grill are trying to do with their new location in Downtown Campbell. Their location in Downtown Campbell is expected to be a continuation of their previous location in San Jose that closed in 2021.
