1 dead in DC shooting near Sycamore and Oak shopping center
WASHINGTON — Police are still searching for suspects in a shooting that left a man dead near the Sycamore and Oak shopping center in Southeast D.C. Sunday evening. Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the 1200 block of Oak Drive Southeast for a reported shooting just before 6 p.m. When officers got to the scene, they found a man shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police later identified the man killed as 32-year-old D'Andre Dixon of Southeast.
Truck hits Beltway bridge support near River Road; one injured
Traffic was delayed for hours Sunday morning and one person was injured when a truck struck a bridge support beam under River Road in Bethesda on the Inner Loop of the BeItway, according to authorities. The person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries in the incident; the truck also struck a sedan. [WTOP]

Your imagination will suggest to you that a grain base will be loaded with vegetables, proteins, and Thai cuisine toppings, and - incredibly - your hunch is correct. In fact, Westfield says in its promotion of the restaurant that "Kapow Buddy is eager to introduce their famous Thai food in the 'Bowl Style' to offer customers a variety of choices including grains, proteins, toppings, and more." The Marco’s Pizza restaurant in the South Riding/Chantilly area of southern Loudoun has closed its doors for good.
