    Boonville woman elected as Shallow Ford Foundation Chair

    The Shallow Ford Foundation announces the election of its officers for the 2024-2025 fiscal year with Yadkin County resident, Jennifer Johnson elected Chair of the Board of Directors.

    Johnson is principal of Three Magnolia Financial Advisors in Winston-Salem and has been a member of the Shallow Ford Foundation’s Board for three years. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from UNC-Greensboro. In addition, she has completed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Active in the community and in philanthropy, Johnson and her husband, David, have supported several organizations including Second Harvest Food Bank, Samaritan Ministries, and Matthew 25 Ministries. She has served in leadership roles as a member of the Boonville United Methodist Church, Yadkin County Education Foundation Advisory Board, and Winston-Salem Financial Services Professionals. She is an active sports fan especially when her own girls are on the volleyball court. Jennifer and David reside in Boonville and have two daughters, Elizabeth "Libby" and Ella Caroline.

    The foundation also elected officers: Robin Paul, Vice Chair and co-founder of the Chris Paul Family Foundation; Stacy Mayhew, Secretary and CFO of Hip Chics, Inc; Bradley O. Gray, CPA, Treasurer, Managing Principal at Gray, Callison & Jones CPA, PC; and Robert D. Sipprell, Jr. (Bob), Immediate Past Chair. Tim Bell, a former Board Chair, was elected to the honor of Board Member Emeritus. Bell serves as Director of Facilities Management for Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. Jennifer Johnson and Brad Gray were also re-elected to a second 3-year term and Bob Sipprell to a 2-year term.

    Other Directors who will be continuing their terms on the board: Victoria Crissman, NC Property and Casualty Agent and Operations Manager with CMS Insurance and Financial; Kim Henson; Bo Houff; Dan Pugh; and Ronnie Willard.
