Friends for the Abbott Marshlands Hosting Free First Saturday Walk at Point Breeze

BORDENTOWN CITY, NJ — Start your July off right with a walk on the historic Point Breeze property this weekend.

Friends for the Abbott Marshlands (FFAM) will be hosting its monthly free First Saturday Wellness Walk on Saturday, July 6 from 10AM to 12PM at Point Breeze, located at 101 Park Street in Bordentown City.

Attendees will have the chance to walk the beautiful estate grounds of Point Breeze, and this month's walk will feature the trees of the property in the summer.

Friends for the Abbott Marshlands hosts a walk on the first Saturday of each month the goal of the community experiencing the health and wellness benefits of a walk in the outdoors. Each First Saturday walk explores a different part of the rich and diverse natural area known as the Abbott Marshlands.

Saturday's walk is co-sponsored by the City of Bordentown, RWJ Fitness and Wellness Center and the D&R Canal State Park. The walk is free, but registration is required. To register, CLICK HERE .

In case of inclement weather, check the FFAM website at https://abbottmarshlands.org/ for any cancellations, which will be listed before 9AM on the day of the event. A light drizzle will not cancel.
