While Autumn will only be turning 1 this week, he is already a warrior and a survivor, having gone through a lot in his short life.
Born in the summer of 2023, his foster mom realized something was not right when he was not as playful and energetic as normal. After many rounds of visits to the veterinarian and tests, Autumn was diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), which, until recently, was considered a death sentence for a cat. However, Autumn's foster mom and BCC sought out new, groundbreaking treatment that saved his life. With his foster mom's help, Autumn endured 84 days of injections, followed by a month-long observation period during which he was monitored and tested by veterinarians.
Autumn has been given a clean bill of health and is finally ready to go to his forever home!
Autumn is described by BCC as a sweet, affectionate, energetic, silly, gentle and playful young kitty who loves to be around other cats, and he has lived in a foster home with older children. His ideal forever home would include another young cat or cats to play with, but would probably have no dogs.

Bordentown City Cats was started in 2003 to address the outside cat problem in the City of Bordentown. The volunteer group has since become involved in rescuing stray and abandoned cats, trapping and socializing feral kittens so they can be adopted, and trapping, neutering and returning (TNR) those that cannot be domesticated to a safe outdoor surrounding. Bordentown City Cats is an all-volunteer organization and nearly every dollar donated goes towards veterinary care and food to support rescue operations and caring for the feral cat population in not only Bordentown City, but all of Northern Burlington County, including Bordentown Township, Fieldsboro, Columbus, Crosswicks, Florence and Roebling.
